Especially in entrance areas of cold stores, higher air circulation can cause ice formation due to condensation of humidity. As a result, accidents are more likely and the insulation effect of rubber lip doors is diminished. The solution are concrete heating mats by Hemstedt.

The concrete mat is available in different sizes and is cast into the floor. An intelligent, temperature-sensitive control unit makes sure that he floor is heated just enough so that the formation of black ice can be reliably avoided. It also makes sure that not more energy than necessary is used. The warmer entrance area also helps keeping the sealing lips of the door flexible, thus improving the insulation effect, which also helps saving energy.

Simple installation

Since the Hemstedt concrete heating cables are available in the shape of different, pre-assembled heating mats in different sizes, they can be installed quickly and easily. Since the cables are connected with our patented HEM-SYSTEM they are sleeveless and don't have any bulges which could hinder installation.
