Possible applications for ceiling heatings
Ceiling heating can be applied in a variety of ways, for example, as normal heating for living spaces. Like underfloor or wall heating, it is a radiant heating, meaning it radiates warmth, which is perceived more quickly and as more pleasant than, for example, the whirling, heated air from a conventional convector heater. Thus, you need to heat less for a comfortably warm room. Also, the room is heating up more evenly, thus preventing air fluctuation and the subsequent whirling up of dust, which is a great plus for people suffering from allergies.
Ceiling heating as building protection
Ceiling heating serve another purpose in, for example, bathrooms. In case of insufficient air circulation, condensation can form on walls and ceilings, leading to damp walls and, in the worst case, mould. A ceiling heating can heat the entire bathroom much quicker than a conventional heating system, and the evenly distributed radiating heat coming off the ceiling helps the dampness on the walls dry much faster. Ideally, the ceiling heating even actively prevents the formation of mould and protects the structure.
Easy to install - or retrofit
