Optimise self-consumption - for maximum benefit

The Hemstedt Controller was specially developed for GREEN ELECTRIC MAT^® and GREEN ACCU MAT^® as well as for the TWIN TURBO^® heating system and controls the two heating conductors separately in a consumption and demand-optimised manner. A clearly laid out touch panel enables convenient setting of the desired room temperature or time-controlled operation with four individually programmable weekly programmes. So if you want to operate your underfloor heating economically, you should opt for this consumption- and demand-optimised control system, because it allows you to make optimum use of green electricity.

Power limitation from the house mains via control input

In addition to the basic function of an underfloor heating system, the power taken from the house mains by the controller can also be limited via a control input. This is particularly advantageous for optimising self-consumption in conjunction with photovoltaic or other systems for generating renewable energy. Depending on the momentary difference between the setpoint and actual value of the floor temperature, the controller switches on one or both heating circuits.

 
The controller fulfils the requirements of standard EN 50559:2013 (VDE 0705-559).

This standard applies to electrical underfloor heating systems in residential buildings and all other buildings with residential or equivalent use and a live load not exceeding 4 kN/m². This standard defines the main characteristics of electric underfloor heating systems and specifies test methods for these characteristics for user information. The special feature of dual-circuit control: For heating outputs above 120 W/m², the heating function can be limited in time according to DIN.
