Climate chamber for environmental testing

When is door frame heating necessary?

In environments where low temperatures prevail and unhindered access must be ensured, a door frame heater is an indispensable element. In climate chambers, rheumatism cells, deep-freeze cells, freezer rooms or cold stores, these heaters play a decisive role in ensuring that the door seal does not freeze and that trouble-free operation is possible.

The frame heaters offered by HEMSTEDT use high-quality silicone or PTFE-insulated heating cables that reliably fulfil their function over a wide temperature range. Our PTFE heating cables, for example, are designed to function reliably even under extreme conditions, whether at icy -100°C or at hot +220°C (with PTFE insulation). It should be noted that a temperature cut-out is required in the positive range to ensure overheating protection.

With our door frame heaters, you get first-class products with the safety and confidence that are essential in demanding environments. Our solutions keep your equipment running smoothly and minimise the risk of breakdowns due to iced door seals.

Available versions with silicone insulation:

Heating cable HEM-SiSi, type NH2GM2G, protection class II

  • with temperature monitor order no. 44500
  • without temperature monitor Order no. 42500
