The inexpensive alternative
The Hemstedt frost alarm is ideal to inexpensively control, for example, gutter heating. Two regulators detect the critical temperature range in which frost damage could occur. Thus, the heating system is only turned on when there's danger, and it will be turned off when ambient temperatures are on an acceptable level. This simple frost alarm is a lot more inexpensive than its digital counterparts and useful everywhere where no founded sensors are necessary.
Robust structure, simple operation
The robust, simple structure makes this frost alarm especially attractive. Two capsuled, water-proof temperature sensors on the inside control the temperatures at which the heating system will be turned on or off. With the use of two regulators, those temperatures can be adjusted to the user respective needs. Thus, the Hemstedt is suitable, for example, for greenhouses or heating cables for shrubs that wouldn't survive extremely low temperatures.
Easy to install
Because the Hemstedt frost alarm is barely bigger than a normal surface socket, it is inconspicuous and can be installed anywhere without any problems. Once it is set up, it is sealed so no control elements are exposed. Thus, this frost alarm is suited for installation in public spaces.
Made in Germany
And since no one wants to worry about ice-free gutters every year, the Hemstedt frost alarm is 100% "Made in Germany" and both absolutely reliable and durable.
