Robust design
Every Hemstedt resistance heating cable is composed of 2 to 7 layers: On the inside there's the heat conductor made from robust twisted or bound wire, which is coated by a layer of plastic. Depending on the make, those two layers are covered by up to two protective meshes, providing additional protection from mechanical influences while also providing a low resistance grounding path. On top of that, there's an outer sheath made of glass fibre which protects the resistance heating cable from chemicals, humidity and heat.
For any purpose - including custom designs
The Hemstedt resistance heating cables are available with different types of protective coating, depending on their purpose. Heating cables with two conductors are also available, just like individual, project-specific custom products in case you need, for example, special acid protection or temperature resistance.
Failure-free performance
The function is simple: Inside of the head conductor of the resistance heating cable, electric current is converted into heat. How much depends on output and resistance of the conductor. Depending on the intended purpose, cables with varying strength are available. That way, we can offer heating solutions in different lengths and performances.
Different power levels available
We offer the Hemstedt resistance heating cables with many different nominal resistances, so we have the right resistance heating cable for every project.
On-site assembly
The resistance heating cables are available as yard goods on reels and can easily be assembled on site, so they can be optimally suited to the respective task.
Extremely durable
High durability against mechanical influences, but also chemicals make the Hemstedt resistance heating cable extremely robust, thus assuring a reliable, long-time performance and isolation covering all of the temperature range.
